Long awaited family trip

2 months ago, my sis came up with an idea for having a family trip. Without any hesitation, I jumped at this suggestion. The most headache part popped up, where should we go? I suggested Cameron Highland while my sis thought Kukup was better. Thinking and considering all pros and cons, we came to a conclusion that Kukup was an ideal place for family trip. At first I didn't really like it, 'cause I have been there for 2 times, and it was just "so so" only. I like Cameron Highland better, it is a nice tourist spot for us to unwind. But then again, pros of Kukup outweighs its cons, it is more economical and convenient, so I just followed the majority. This trip also involved my uncle, auntie and cousin, honestly it was the first time going out with them, so I was quite looking forward. Surprisingly, it turned out to be more amazingly fantastic than I anticipated. The presence of my sis's little daughter brought a lot of joy to us. We played mahjong, BBQ and off shore to visit the kelong village. Speaking of mahjong, my auntie and cousin are veterans whereas I am just noobie. However, it didn't mean anything at all, I won the first three round!!! Wahaha...so lucky man!!! If we gambled I must have already won many cash.

Off shore to seaThis is the kelong village we went. This man is feeding the fish. Many fishes here are well breed. What is this creature? Any kind people tell me its name please...See, I am walking above the sea, INCREDIBLE!!!
With my cousins at a temple tower. It wasn't New Year or any gala celebration, somehow, here you can see many fireworks exploding in the sky. It felt great!!! Sorry for my not-up-to-professional photographing skill. =D
My brother-in-law playing with his little girl. Cute right?Group photo. (I should remove the plate of rice, it is so distracting!!!)Ashamed to say, this is the first time I carrying my niece. You can tell by my awkward expression and her poker face.

Exam-mode is ON

(Poster designed by Kent Choy)

The "EXAM WAR" had just kicked off this week. This is my first exam ever in UM. I know exam is the toughest time for every student. Frankly speaking, I don't feel a surge of stress at all this time. Not to say I am over-confident, but it is just like "another exam only mah", I have sat for countless exam from primary school till now, there is nothing I should feel tension, instead I must cope with it well, without emotion. Another reason is that the exam schedule is quite flexible to me. 2 exams in one week, totally 6 exams in 3 weeks, that means I have plenty of time to study, provided I spend my time on study to fullest. Anyhow, I did do revision, I never take exam for granted.

The 2 most feared papers were finally over!!! TITAS and algebra. Woohoooo!!! I never touch the notes of TITAS for the entire sem, the time when I only flipped through the notes was study week, imagine I supposed to finish one sem syllabus in one week, how couldn't I be nervous!!! Heeding to the advice of seniors, I did look through the past year paper, it really helped me much. Indeed, the questions come out were repeated. I couldn't guaranteed scoring well, at least I know I won't retake this stupid subject next sem. *grin* For the algebra, I am not the kind of math-geek, that's why I am scared of this paper. Fortunately, the questions come out were not too bad.

The exam-mode is still on, next week will be engineering mechanics and digital system. Both subjects, apparently, were not so heavy, but I must work out for them. Aza aza fighting!!!! All the best to those who are having exams.

Random #5

This time I really have left my blog in rest-mode for an age. Everyone has been urging me to update the blog, and I just reply them with "I'm busy lah!!". Indeed, I am very busy, but you know, I am not like other typical blogger, I only blog when the mood is right. Course work, college activities have taken all my right mood. So, sorry for your long-necked waiting ya!!! Haha...

Hmm...you might want to know how am I doing lately. I am very fine. It has been 4 months in UM, 1st semester is gonna come to an end. 4 months=1 semester. Crazy man!!! These 4 months I was like riding on the bullet train. Everything rushes in seconds. How I wish I could go back to matriculation, whereby 1 semester is equivalent to 5 months, what's more there were only 3 core subjects. Here, 6 subjects syllabus are squeezed into 4 months, what the hell!!! Every subject is pretty heavy and challenging. I am not ashamed to tell you, I do revision everyday, otherwise I will be lagged with the lecturer's progess. So, now you know why I not updating my blog.

Currently it is the study week, literally, it is a week for me to STUDY!! Exam is coming soon, I can't imagine how I am gonna be dead and gone. I want to study now, go first...*phew*

What's all about UM?

I'm home again!!! It has been a while I am not writing a post. For the past two months being in UM, life has been wonderful. Despite busyness, I love it though!!! I'm staying in fifth residential college (name for my hostel, not other college like INTI or TARC). It's kinda sad that the Chinese residents in my college only made up of 27 people. Other colleges have averagely 90 people or even more. However, we are very united albeit the limited number. Our bond become stronger through making some activities, say, SJ night. I am not trying to be racist or something, but limited strength may become a kind of impedance for us to hold activities. Anyhow, in spite of 27 people only, I believe we can do it!! All seniors here are great people. They are not as arrogant as I think early, in fact, they are truly friendly. They do help and guide us in many matters. Hence, the junior-senior relationship is very close as well. I found that the hostel lifestyle in UM is much different from what we have gone through in matrik. Here, we have loads of activity projects. I have joined national blood donation, we call it NBD, and perarakan (some sort of kawad). Coming up next is Tanglung Fiesta and Sukmum. There are many more awaiting me to join.

Have been crapping too much...haha!!! As I promised in the last post, I shall depict my brand new life in UM. Just a very few words, let the pictures tell the story.

1. Minggu Haluan Siswa. (Orientation Week)

I'm sure every freshie must have gone through this. It can be a kind of disaster. Also, UM is infamous for its ragging hearsay. Whatever it is, I have witnessed it, it was not that bad actually. I can proudly say that ragging was strictly prohibited in my college. What's more, all the pembatu siswa(PM) treated us very well. They ensured us get enough sleep and free of sick all the time. First few days seemed to be draggy and tedious, the whole-day activity was talks, talks and talks again. Starting from third day onward, it turned out to be very interesting. We played games, it was fun!!! Just see the picture to see how happy we were. With our honorable PMs. 5th college freshies.
They are my roommates.

2. Electrical Engineering outing.

Literally, we went outing with course mates, but this outing was quite abnormal one. We went to a garden park. So what we did there? We got to do the performance in the public!!!! Don't doubt it, it is true. Never ever experience this in my life. It is a tradition though, every new year the juniors must present their performance to seniors. We did "Storm Music" and "Dance Evolution". Very embarrassing, but pretty fun. Before that, we were assigned to plead the autograph from all 2nd year seniors and 3rd year seniors. It was the supreme tough time. Sometimes we had to do the stupid acts then only can get their autograph. Being a junior is not easy all the time. Anyway, it was a good chance to know seniors more. With my course mates...(all look so serious, except me =.=||)We really performed in the public, see this prove!!!My new-formed buddy line. They are my seniors who pass the notes to me and help me in studies.Group photos. Seniors+juniors

3. SJ night.

SJ stands for senior-junior. It is a function held by juniors for seniors. The goal is to foster the tight bond between juniors and seniors. This was the most interesting part in my life ever since I entered 5th college. I was one of the four organizers. It was a time when I showed my XUEJI quality again. I was like the leader in a team, planning all sorts of programs and taking up pivotal responsibility. Being a leader is stressful and killing, as you all know. I had been sick for few days in midst of preparing process. We faced many difficulties, the toughest one was the limited strength we had. Anyhow, we still got over it after all. Glad that all my friends were willing to give the full commitment, making this event a great successs. This paper was very important to me, without it I would die!!
Thanks guys!! You guys helped so much!!
People mountain people sea.

4. Convocation.

It sounds not related to me at all, as I am not the one who graduate. Virtually, everyone got involved in this remarkable event. I never witness any convo. As far as I know and see from the pictures, convo is an event where graduands wear their robes and mortar boards, it's just as simple as this. However, it was much different from what I have experienced. We as the juniors also shared the joyous moment. We got to send off and celebrate for our graduate seniors. The most fun part was that we threw them to the air and they must grabbed the leaf down. Haha...this was the first time I attend convo, it was awesome!!! I long for one day I can be like them too, it is going to be 4 years later.....
卧五藏龙!!!!
With Adrian. (You can see 1/2 of my face on the left)5th college, POWER!!!All engineering graduands from 5th college. The proudest moment which everyone crave for.
This is how we throw them to the sky. Cool right?!
With law graduands.
With my EE graduate senior.
My buddy line.

Although it is just 2 months in UM, the memory I have is fruitful. I love UM!!! To be continued...

Damn it!!!

Shit!!! I have typed a lengthy long post, somehow I accidentally click something, all are gone!!! Argh....damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, this post suppose to write about my life in UM. I'm very down mood now, I don't want to retype it again!! Fuck!!! Stupid blogspot!!!

Random #4

I'm sorry for leaving this blog blank for so long. I just finished my grueling and tedious orientation week not long ago. Before I entered UM, I put my laptop in my friend's house for the sake of safety, and now I only get back. All the time I just used the library computer to online, which sucks!!! So I decide to blog only after I redeem my laptop.

In short, university life is fantastic!!! The seniors here are not as scary as the hearsay, in fact, they treat us as junior pretty nice though. I have to plead for their signature for current period. I hate this actually, because some of them like to force us to do something stupid in order to get the signature.

In the next post, I shall depict more details about how my orientation went on. See ya...

Goodbye, home.

Haizz...time flies in a blink of eyes, I am gonna back to study. This time is quite different than before, because I will be the undergraduate (please don't call me student anymore), sounds profound huh. It is going to be a very new place for me, that means I have to start everything from zero, like toddler starts walking. There will be uncertainties waiting me to face, want or don't want, I must face it. Kuala Lumpur, a place where I always looking forward to further study, this time I will be there for 4 years. Compared to Penang, the distance between KL and JB is like 5 hours ride, neither far nor near, so going back home is no longer a big problem for me. What's more, I have bunch of friends studying in KL, calling them out is extremely not a big deal. So I am not alone. However, unlike Penang, I don't have any close relative in KL, I must rely on myself and be more independent.

Hmm...a new chapter of life is about to begin. I have promised myself to change.

1) STUDY HARD!!!! It is not the honey moon time anymore. Perhaps this is going to be the last part of my education, so cherish the coming 4 years, study hard!!

2) Make more friends. Yes, especially in university, where I will survive there for years. Seriously, I can't live without friends.

3) Thrifty. This is quite imposible, but I must try. I am very poor in financial management. My parent age, time by time they will be older and older, so I must take responsibility as their son not to waste money.

4) Punctuality. My steadfast weakness. Beside financial management, I am also poor in time management. Anyway, I must watch over my punctuality, never give any chance to myself to repeat the bad habit.

5) Bad-temper. It is sad I always offend my friends because of my hot temper and impatience. I should learn to be more considerate, be a nice friend.

Today is the last day in my home. **sobs** Argh...I really miss everything now, seriously!! By the way, I will be home again after one month, hahahaha!! Last day in my home is unusually special with the presence of Yi Sheng and Pei Pei, my best friends of all time. As suggested by Yi Sheng, we went to CS to watch Transformer today. This movie is amazing, fantastic, fabulous, breathtaking, awesome,....(what else?). It lasted for 2 hours 45 minutes, so long huh, it was worth though. This episode is funnier than the last one, especially Bee, and the emergence of robot also increases. It is definitely the must-watch movie of the year. Next movie, Harry Potter, guess I will be watching it in KL.

Yi Sheng and me.
Pei Pei and me.

Million thanks for you two!!!!!!! Thanks for accompanying me in this moment!!! I enjoyed every seconds being with you. XUEJI 13179~

Tomorrow I will be setting off from Ming Jie' house. His relative or someone fetches us to KL.

To all my friends in KMPP and also those who are going to pursue the University, good luck!! I am with you, so let's work hard and enjoy for the 4 years. Cheer!!!
